Blackjack vs Texas Hold'em
Blackjack is you against the dealer. You try to get closer to 21 without going over, choosing between hit, stand, double and split, and the dealer follows fixed rules. There is little to read in other players, so the decisions are about the odds.
Texas Hold'em is you against the table. Two private cards and five shared ones make the best five-card hand, and betting rounds in between let you bluff, trap and fold. The skill lies in reading people and managing your chips over a number of hands.
