Golf vs Tri-Peaks
In Golf, seven columns of five cards are dealt face up, so you see the whole layout. You can only play the bottom card of a column, and you clear the columns by chaining ranks up and down. There is no hidden information, so it is a planning game.
In TriPeaks the cards are arranged in three overlapping peaks, and the covered cards are face down until you uncover them. Each one you reveal is a surprise, and long runs without drawing earn bonus points. It is a game of streaks and luck as much as planning.
